Does eToro Use MT4?

No, eToro does not support MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Instead, eToro offers its own proprietary trading platform with unique features tailored to its community of traders. This platform is accessible via web browsers and mobile apps for Android and iOS devices.​

Why eToro Doesn't Use MT4

eToro has chosen not to integrate MT4 or MT5 because these platforms are not compatible with its social trading features and proprietary tools, which includes functionalities like CopyTrader and Smart Portfolios. These features are designed to promote a collaborative trading environment where users can follow and replicate the strategies of other eToro traders, including their Popular Investors.​

If you prefer using MetaTrader platforms, there are plenty of brokers out there that support MT4 and MT5. The downside however is that they don't have the social trading features that eToro provides.​ Something which I think is very unique that other brokers don't offer and still cannot replicate.
