For the most part, withdrawing money from eToro is simple. But the actual experience can vary depending on three important things: your account verification, the withdrawal method you pick, and where you live.
If your account isn’t fully verified (look for the green check next to your username), that’s going to cause delays. Also, make sure your funds aren’t tied up in open positions. You can only withdraw what’s available in your balance.
Once you hit "withdraw," eToro usually processes your request in 1–2 business days. After that, how fast the money hits your account depends on how you're taking it out:
Just a heads-up: eToro doesn’t process withdrawals on weekends or public holidays. Funds generally go back to the same payment method you used for deposits. If that’s no longer available, you’ll need to provide a new one.
My Experience? Mostly Smooth, With a Few Delays
Most of my withdrawals landed within the expected window. But during peak trading times or when I took out a larger amount, there were some hiccups. Nothing major, just slightly longer wait times than usual.
