To become an eToro Club member, you need to maintain a minimum tier balance of $5,000 in your eToro account. Once you meet this requirement, membership is granted automatically, with your tier status updated within 24 hours.
Your tier balance is calculated as follows:

| Available cash in your eToro investing account | Certain products, such as leveraged CFDs and, for UK residents, crypto positions |
| Total amount invested on eToro | Assets held on the eToro Options platform |
| Cash value available in your eToro Money account |
Unrealized profits or losses from open positions are not included in the tier balance calculation for the stability in your membership status since this will prevent frequent changes due to market volatility.
The eToro Club consists of five tiers, each offering increasing benefits:

As your tier balance grows, you automatically progress to higher tiers, unlocking additional perks such as reduced fees, premium financial content, and exclusive event invitations.
If your tier balance falls below the required amount for your current tier, eToro provides a grace period before downgrading your membership:
Basically, the membership is free and it's based solely on your tier balance, with no additional application process required. What I also liked about their policy when it comes to maintaining the membership tier is that it gives me the flexibility whenever there are market fluctuations or if decided to make a withdrawal (it gives me enough time to meet the required amount again).
